Tinto Nabal Crianza. Tempranillo 100%
Production: 40.000 Bottles (75 cl)

The vineyards from which this wine originates are located in the area around Lerma, in the valley of the Arlanza River, a tributary of the well-known Duero River.

The grapes were hand-picked when they had reached the optimum ripeness. The bunches arrived to the winery, in 15 Kg plastic crates, where are sorted on a table and de-stemmed. The grapes were then pumped into small stainless-steel vats and kept at a low temperature for several days, where a slow fermentation was carried out at 26ºC. The ageing that it then received for 12 months in new American and French oak barrels produces a full, fruity wine

COLOUR: Very dark red colour with lively, bright purple tints.

NOSE:Interesting and complex on the nose. Up-front floral aromas evolve into dark fruit aromas with interesting hints of wood, finally giving way to notes characteristic of the ‘tempranillo’ grape variety from Arlanza.

PALATE: Balanced and complex. Good concentration of fruit integrated with lively acidity and lovely smooth tannins. Long, fresh finish results in a rounded wine that invites you to continue drinking.

September 2010.
